Whole Foods Market plans to label whether or not if a product is GMO or not in light of customer concerns. By 2018 Whole Foods Market plans on being 100% GMO transparent. For years WFM  has sourced 365 Eveyday(wfm in store brand) to avoid GMO products. A recent study has shown that 82% of consumers want to know whether or not the foods they're eating are GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms). They are the first national major grocery retailer to do so. For any new stores opening now and in the future, they will be mostly GMO free, which greatly excites me because I have a New concept WFM down the street from me, which should be completed in early August 2013.
